"I have a better understanding of how our actions relate to those 4 main perspectives in IIF Integral Approach Model.”
This is one of the feedback from a participant attending the 2016 IIF Commitment Workshop for CUEL-Chevron Installation Campaign held on Monday 15th February at Chaophya Park Hotel, Bangkok by Installation HES. The IIF Commitment Workshop is annually arranged for top management from all parties (Chevron, CUEL, and offshore subcontractors) to review and commit to making Incident and Injury-Free possible for the 2016 Installation Campaign. Khun Manish Misra, CUEL GM Operations, and Khun Chris North representing Chevron Management also attended and gave the opening speeches.
2015 company / personal IIF commitments including challenges of downturn in oil and gas industry were brought up for considering and identifying actions that supports IIF commitments toward 2016 Installation Campaign.
Group discussion allowed managers to have engagement on identifying IIF commitments and actions to ensure safety of their offshore personnel. Identified actions from all parties were also reflected in the IIF Integral Approach model to let participants see what they are missing in the 4 main perspectives (Intention, Culture, Behavior, and Systems). This would help remind them that IIF approach is more than safety rules and systems.
CUEL also took this opportunity to appreciate and recognize the offshore subcontractors for their contributions and being part of the achievement of 10 Year without Day Away from Work incident
