CUEL,UTSE organise vocational training to create job for locals

On 22 and 29 August 2020, CUEL Limited, together with Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Limited, conducted culinary class, Chicken Rice and Pork Satay, under the company’s Vocational Training Project with the aim of encouraging job creation and boost income for nearby 11 community members.

The Vocational Training Project was kicked off in 2018 by a cooperative effort of CUEL Limited and Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Limited to take unemployed locals to attend classes at Matichon Academy. This year the company has further developed the project by inviting previous year trainees to be the culinary instructors sharing cooking skills and standardised recipes which can be adapted for commercial purposes.

Ms. Patcharee Somboon, one of the trainees in 2018, was invited to be the culinary instructor teaching how to cook Chicken Rice and Pork Satay on 22 and 29 August. Ms. Patcharee said, “I feel thankful for the opportunity that CUEL has offered to me. This project helps supplement income to support my family. Also, I am very delighted that I have a chance to share my cooking know-how to other members in the community.”

Attasit Korchaiyapruk, Ph.D. stated, “CUEL has always been playing a vital role in supporting job creation for the local people in the communities. This project has been conducted for three consecutive years which more than 180 people passing this training. Apart from the betterment of life quality of the local residents through our CSR projects, CUEL is also supporting local employment.

ซียูอีแอล และยูนิไทย ชิปยาร์ด จัดโครงการฝึกอาชีพ ส่งเสริมการสร้างอาชีพในชุมชน

เมื่อวันที่ 22 และ 29 สิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา บริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัด และบริษัท ยูนิไทย ชิปยาร์ด แอนด์ เอนจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด จัดอบรมฝึกทำอาหารหลักสูตรข้าวมันไก่ และหมูสะเต๊ะ ภายใต้โครงการสร้างอาชีพใหม่ให้ชุมชน เพื่อส่งเสริมการสร้างอาชีพและรายได้ให้แก่สมาชิกในชุมชนบริเวณใกล้เคียง 11 ชุมชน

โครงการสร้างอาชีพใหม่ให้ชุมชนริเริ่มขึ้นเมื่อปี 2561 จากการประสานความร่วมมือของบริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัด และบริษัท ยูนิไทย ชิปยาร์ด แอนด์ เอนจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด ในการส่งเสริมสมาชิกชุมชนที่ขาดรายได้ เข้าร่วมอบรมที่ศูนย์ฝึกอาชีพมติชน ซึ่งในปีนี้บริษัทฯ ได้ต่อยอดโครงการดังกล่าวด้วยการเชิญผู้ผ่านการอบรมในปีที่ผ่านมา เป็นวิทยากรถ่ายทอดทักษะการประกอบอาหาร และสูตรอาหารมาตรฐานที่สามารถนำไปต่อยอดประกอบอาชีพได้

คุณพัชรี สมบูรณ์ หนึ่งในผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการเมื่อปี 2561 ได้รับเชิญมาเป็นวิทยากรสอนทำข้าวมันไก่ และหมูสะเต๊ะเมื่อวันที่ 22 และ 29 สิงหาคมที่ผ่านมา คุณพัชรีกล่าวว่า “ดิฉันรู้สึกขอบคุณบริษัทซียูอีแอลที่มอบโอกาสให้กับฉัน โครงการนี้ทำให้ฉันมีรายได้เพิ่มขึ้นเพื่อใช้เลี้ยงดูครอบครัว และรู้สึกดีใจที่ได้ส่งต่อโอกาส และแบ่งปันความรู้ที่ได้อบรมมาแก่สมาชิกท่านอื่น ๆ ในชุมชนด้วย”

ดร. อรรถสิทธิ์ กอชัยพฤกษ์ กรรมการผู้จัดการบริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัด ได้กล่าวเสริมว่า “ซียูอีแอลให้ความสำคัญในการสนับสนุนสร้างอาชีพให้กับประชาชนในท้องถิ่นมาโดยตลอด โครงการสร้างอาชีพใหม่ให้ชุมชนจัดขึ้นเป็นเวลาสามปีต่อเนื่อง มีผู้ผ่านการอบรมแล้วกว่า 180 คน นอกเหนือจากการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของสมาชิกในชุมชนให้ดีขึ้นผ่านกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคมของบริษัทแล้ว ซียูอีแอลยังสนับสนุนการจ้างแรงงานในพื้นที่อีกด้วย”
