CUEL, UTSE distribute relief packs to 11 nearby communities

On 11 June 2020, CUEL Limited, in collaboration with Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Limited, distributed relief packs to the residents of 11 communities surrounded its operation with an aim to support people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Chotithach Charajchamroen, Human Resource Operations Manager of CUEL, represented the company in the distribution of the relief packs to the leaders of the 11 communities, namely (1) Baan Bang La Mung Community, (2) Baan Tung Community, (3) Baan Na Kao Community, (4) Baan Tung Kard Community, (5) Wat Ma No Rom Community, (6) Baan Laem Thong Community, (7) Baan Na Mai Community, (8) Baan Nong Ma Nao Community, (9) Baan Ta Lard Ao Udom Community, (10) Baan Ao Udom Community and (11) Baan Leam Chabang Community.

In each relief package contains drinking water, canned food, two kilograms of rice, medicine, and toiletries which will be delivered by the community leaders to residents whose income and livelihood were affected by COVID-19.

Mr. Chotithach Charajchamroen said, “CUEL always realises the importance of improving well-being and quality of life of all stakeholders as they are essential to company’s existence. We hope that our contributions could help relieve suffering affecting individuals in our nearby communities. We will overcome this crisis together.”

Mr. Santi Siritanyong, Deputy Mayor of Laem Chabang City Municipality, added, “Even though the tension of COVID-19 pandemic is declined, the basic needs of accessibility to consumer products of people affected by COVID-19 continue. As a member of authority of Laem Chabang Municipality, I do appreciate the effort of CUEL Limited and Unithai Shipyard and Engineering Limited in seeing the livelihood of all community members as a key issue and helping relieve suffering of those affected.”

ซียูอีแอลจับมือยูนิไทย มอบถุงยังชีพช่วยเหลือชุมชนทั้ง 11 ชุมชนรอบสถานประกอบการ

เมื่อวันที่ 11 มิถุนายน 2563 บริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัด พร้อมด้วยบริษัท ยูนิไทย ชิปยาร์ด แอนด์ เอ็นจิเนียริ่ง จำกัด ส่งมอบถุงยังชีพให้กับประชาชนที่อาศัยอยู่ในชุมชนทั้ง 11 ชุมชนโดยรอบสถานประกอบการ เพื่อช่วยเหลือผู้ได้รับผลกระทบจากการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด 19

งานดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นโดยมีคุณโชติธัช จรัสจำเริญ ผู้จัดการฝ่ายปฏิบัติการด้านงานทรัพยากรมนุษย์ บริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัด เป็นตัวแทนส่งมอบถุงยังชีพให้กับผู้นำชุมชนทั้ง 11 ชุมชน ได้แก่ (1) ชุมชนบ้านบางละมุง (2) ชุมชนบ้านทุ่ง (3) ชุมชนบ้านนาเก่า (4) ชุมชนบ้านทุ่งกราด (5) ชุมชนวัดมโนรม (6) ชุมชนบ้านแหลมทอง (7) ชุมชนบ้านนาใหม่ (8) ชุมชนบ้านหนองมะนาว (9) ชุมชนบ้านตลาดอ่าวอุดม (10) ชุมชนบ้านอ่าวอุดม (11) ชุมชนบ้านแหลมฉบัง

ถุงยังชีพดังกล่าวประกอบไปด้วยน้ำดื่ม ข้าวสาร อาหารกระป๋อง ยาสามัญประจำบ้าน และของอุปโภคต่างๆ โดยผู้นำชุมชนจะนำไปมอบให้แก่ผู้อยู่อาศัยในชุมชนที่สูญเสียรายได้อันเนื่องมาจากผลกระทบของโรคโควิด 19

คุณโชติธัช จรัสจำเริญ กล่าวว่า “ซียูอีแอลตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการเสริมสร้างสุขภาวะและคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้มีส่วนได้เสียทุกภาคส่วนมาโดยตลอด เพราะทุกคนเป็นส่วนสำคัญต่อการดำรงอยู่ขององค์กร เราหวังว่าถุงยังชีพที่เราได้มอบในครั้งนี้จะช่วยบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนให้กับผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบในชุมชน เพื่อที่เราทุกคนจะได้ก้าวผ่านวิกฤติครั้งนี้ไปด้วยกันครับ”

คุณสันติ ศิริตันหยง รองนายกเทศมนตรี เทศบาลนครแหลมฉบัง กล่าวเสริมว่า “ถึงแม้ว่าสถานการณ์โควิดในประเทศไทยจะคลี่คลายลง แต่ความต้องการการเข้าถึงสิ่งอุปโภคและบริโภคพื้นฐานของผู้ที่ได้รับผลกระทบยังคงมีอยู่ ในฐานะที่ผมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของเทศบาลนครแหลมฉบัง ต้องขอขอบคุณบริษัท ซียูอีแอล จำกัดและบริษัท ยูนิไทย ชิปยาร์ด แอนด์ เอนจิเนียริ่ง จำกัดที่เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญในการช่วยบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนในกับประชาชนในพื้นที่ชุมชน”
