School Safety Program at Wat Leam Chabang School

On 29 May, CUEL Corporate HES team conducted for 5th year in succession the Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment Workshop for teachers and Student Council of Wat Laem Chabang School.

The workshop put an emphasis on the hazard identification skill and how to assess a risk associated with the identified hazards. Through field survey exercises in all major activity areas of the school, the students and teachers had hands-on experience in identifying hazards and classifying/prioritizing the identified risk scenarios. Students actively and joyfully participated in the exercises with their peers. At the conclusion of the workshop, they came to realize that SAFETY is everyone’s responsibility and that it is their duty to prevent everyone from getting injured. Through years of practice, now the number of injuries in the school has dropped significantly.
